A Swedish Country Cottage | house tour |
Friday, July 6, 2012
My imagination these days seems to mostly be dedicated to seeing myself living/vacationing in different parts of the world. I love to think about what it would be like to be here or there . . . (I am pretty sure pinterest is to blame for all these daydreams of mine!) Today I am imaging vacationing here in this ultra sweet swedish country cottage. I can picture myself pulling out some pancake mix and making up a yummy breakfast while my kids sit at the old rickety table in the eat-in kitchen. Then strolling around the property picking flowers and watching my kids explore. I can hear the crick of the wooden floor boards as I go from each little room to the next. And in this little daydream of mine I can't wait for the sun to fall so I could start a little fire in that glorious fireplace!
Could you picture vacationing here? If so it's for sale for 350000 krona - which translates to about 50 thousand US dollars (according to my memory of trying figure out all of liz salander's monies while reading the millinieum trilogy). Of course I know nothing of the real estate market or laws in Sweden, but that still seems like a quite a bargain! One can dream, right?
