What you need: Feathers | Floral tape | Fishing line | Beads | Earring hooks
These feather earrings are really simple to make and you can use the basic of the tutorial to make other feathery goods. You can get beautiful feathers at most craft stores, I often get loose feathers in bags that have a variety to mix and match. The floral tape can be purchased at a floral shop or online - it works really great to hold the feathers in place. I like to wind a couple rounds over the feathers first to make sure they are in the place I want them. Then I just take a small piece of fishing line and and fold it over to make a loop. Place the ends of the fishing line on top of the feather ends wrapped in the floral tape and wrap some more around the ends, making sure you have about a half inch of your loop sticking up outside of the tape warpping. I like to use beads to finish it off, not only as decoration but to give the earrings some weight. You can also attach them to bobby pins and use them in your hair. Enjoy!

what a great project. love it!
