I Love You Just The Way You Are | House Tour |

I immediately fell in love with the home of, John Derian, from the moment I laid eyes on the first picture. I knew I had to find more about this place and lucky for me I did, you can see more here, too; and find out why he loves his elegantly dilapidated abode just as it is. And while he does love it as is and has no intentions of changing it up to much, he does plans on some renovating, he may be able to count me as one of the people who says "I liked it better before!" Hopefully there will be more pictures at some point so we can find out.

  3. When I flipped right to the magazine in this week's Sunday Times delivery and saw this house on the cover, my jaw dropped. It's stunning, isn't it? They called it the Makeunder and frankly I want to makeunder my entire house. It's hard to believe the house is in NYC, isn't it? I picture it in London.

    1. I loved in the article how he said he wished he had a spray can of dust. While I am not so sure about that I get what he is saying. I think you should go hang out in there and write some of your book in that amazing apartment.

  4. Oh My! I too love his home. There is so much texture and raw materials going on - it's so lovely. My two favorite details: the wooden floor in the bedroom, reminds me of my old family home in New York, as well as the single black cord light hanging in front of the old fireplace, it sort of lets the architecture speak for itself.
