Boots For Boys
Tuesday, November 27, 2012
If there is one thing I love almost as much as getting boots for myself it's getting little boots for little boys feet. M+L are growing out of these boots that I adore and it's time for a new pair. I usually buy them the same shoes but in different colors - not so much because I have major issues with matching and symmetry (though that's true) but it's because I know if I buy two different pairs there will inevitably be one pair that they will fight over. But with so many cute shoes I feel like I am ready to take my chances two different pairs so I can whittle it down to two options rather than just one. Luckily, at the sweet little age of four, they find boots and shoes just as exciting as toys and candy, so I am planning on a little splurging because they won't grumble at all to finding a pair of shiny new boots under the tree. These are my top favorites. I know which ones they would pick and the velcro is muy practico but I want to know which are your favorites as I might have to settle on a vote to ease my indecisive mind!

Buying clothes and shoes for my godson is a sheer joy. I don't want to leave the shops! :) I like no 5 and 6 the most.

The 1,2,4 are so adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shoes! Makes me feel like I need to have a little boy just so I can start clothing him :)
ReplyDeletei always wanted a little girl to dress up but i have three boys so i try to find lots of cute shoes and sweaters . . . oh and hats, there's lots of great hats for little guys.
DeleteSo so cute! I am totally loving the velcro, totally practical and cute! Another top contender, number 3! Kind of badass, and I can definitely see them growing into that pair and lasting a long time through out a few ages!
ReplyDeletei like the velcro too, i think they would be perfect for school. but those black boots, those are my favorite, of course they are like $200 bucks!
DeleteI wanna steal those cute no 5 and hide them under my pillow <3
ReplyDeletei know! i feel the same. or put them on my boys and put some knickers on them and send them outside to sell newspapers.
DeleteNumber 3! Easy because they don't have laces and are super rock-and-roll, too. Love them all! I sort of want little pairs of feet to dress up if this is how chic the get to be! Everything is so much cuter because they're all so small. M+L are lucky to have such a stylish mom to put them on the right track, and hopefully they'll still appreciate a good pair of shoes well into the next years of their lives! Boys are hard to shop for the older they get, I swear. xo
ReplyDeletethey ARE harder to shop for! that why while they are little i am dressing them as much as possible - before they discover shoes that have light in the soles ; )
DeleteCan I buy some of these for myself? I would definitely wear number three even though they are for young boys.
ReplyDeletei would too, in fact i have been looking for a pair just like that for myself forever!
DeleteI have two boys. I love 3 and 4 I am totally loving the velcro is practical !!!!
ReplyDeleteme too, i love them. wish i could buy them ALL!
DeleteGosh, I would even get some of these for my daughter. They're all really cool. Ok, but if I have to narrow it down, I'm really feelin' #6. I like the sweet trim on the back of #6, and I bet those laces are really elastic so they're "easy" to put on. ;)
ReplyDeletemy boys would definitely like #6 and considering i have no little i definitely tend to love clothes that are more unisex.
DeleteSo adorable. I am obsessed with little boys shoes. These are adorable. Rowan has quite the sneaker collection!
ReplyDeleteEven though we don't have little ones, the kid's shoe department always stops us in our tracks. These are absolutely adorable. My faves are 1,2 & 5 because I love how retro they are. They remind me of something I would see the little ones in Spain wearing (can you picture it, little boys with shorts and thick tights and these boots!)
ReplyDeleteyes! that is how i like to dress them as much as possible. i love them in boots and pea coats and little caps. it's my favorite.
DeleteThese are just adorable! Nothing like little shoes! I used to collect them!
