I was recently introduced to Live Beautifully a new sponsor of my blog. Live Beautifully offers lovely handcrafted beauty products such as lip balms, lotion bars, fragrances and much more. All of which are made of natural skin conditioning ingredients that help rejuvenate the skin.

Yesterday I got a little package in the mail with two of their lip products. It's a well-know fact to those that have ever met me for 2 minutes in-person I have an addiction to lip products. I am constantly applying and reapplying, scouting for new products and hunting down old favorites. I literally can't go to sleep if I don't have a lip balm next to my bed - I will tear my house apart until I find something. So it was a bit like Christmas morning when I found two of their lip conditioning treatments in my mailbox.

As most of you know I am an Etsy seller, as is Live Beautifully, with that said I kind of know some of the in's and out's of what go into to a small independent business. With that said I was so impressed! But I am putting the cart before the horse now. Let me first talk about the products themselves. Love them. I especially loved the lip balm in the tube. It is silky and smooth and is the perfect lip balm for when you need a little reapplication and the scent is light just like the balm itself. Perfect I say, perfect. The solid balm is great for longer wear, it's thicker and it's affects will last even fanatics like me through the night. The scent is heavenly and it leaves a little bit of sweetness, which I am also partial to.

Now being that Etsy seller myself, as I was saying, I can't not comment on how impressed I was before I even opened up my treats. I knew just from the packaging they were going to be well made. I can tell when people are selling something and when people are selling something they love. I could immediately tell that there is love and soul behind this brand. There is care and attention to every detail, and let me tell you, that's a lot of work which they do and then some. The business cards are handcrafted, each product is sealed and wrapped beautifully. There is an ingredient list and high quality packaging. Did I mention I how impressed I am? They have a lovely blog too, you can check it out here.

Thanks for my goodies and a giving me a reason to gush about a fellow Etsy seller!

  1. I am a total sucker for anything in beautiful packaging and these certainly fit that brief. I am a product junkie through-and-through so I am off to check them out on Etsy now. Thanks for the introduction to a wonderful company!

  2. NIce! I just ordered the Blood Orange & Cinnamon lip balm. I just ran out of the Rose's lip balm, and I'm excited to try something new!

  3. Just as you said, the simple, warm and beautiful package alone is enough to impress us!

  4. That lip balm seems nice! I want to try a cinnamon lip balm for a long time now. :)

  5. Blood orange and cinnamon? Hello. Why oh, why can't I ever get lip stuff to STAY ON? Beautiful recommendation, dearie. XO

  6. Coming from you, this review is a wonderful endorsement as I know you would never support something you didn't absolutely love. When I used to own my stationery line, besides making the stationery itself, I loved putting love and care into the packaging. It really does send the right message. (As soon as I read this post, I immediately felt compelled to search for my lip balm. My lips are feeling really dry now.)

  7. I really like when sellers include a personalized note in the package as well - it makes it feel like you're getting something from a friend.

I have a TERRIBLE etsy shopping addiction. I don't even want to tell you how much I spend there on a yearly basis (I just shouldn't keep track anymore)

  8. Okay, because I wasn't convinced enough already that we were twins, I totally am now! I am a lip gloss ADDICT! I can't stop myself from buying new products or reapplying a zillion times throughout the day. A few years ago, I was working at my dad's architecture firm, and they had a company gallery display in the lobby. Every employee that wanted to was given a shadow box and they could decorate/fill it however they wanted. My dad sent me an email saying, "Maybe you could fill yours with an artful display of lip balm?" I remember that exactly because it was so funny!

Thank you for the intro to this company! xoxo
