I titled this post ellipsis not because it's one of my favorite and often over used grammatical marks, but because that's what I will be ending this post with. I have been taking some time to remember how to be unhurried and to reenergize. I am slowly making my way back to the much missed routines of my life. I think I can put blogging at the top of that list. Which is nice. Naturally, feeling inspired to blog comes and goes, but having had to put it lower on my priority list lately I have realized how much I enjoy it. And, actually, without doing it on the regular lately I feel a little less like myself. So while I don't have a big update yet, I am back.

Thank you for all the wonderful support for my recent endeavor (a special xo to Erin). I can say I had imagined a million and one scenarios but of course it turned out totally different than all of them. But more on that somewhere in the near future . . .

  1. Love this Christine. It's so cool and refreshing. The combination of photos reminds me of the Santa Cruz forests where I used to go hiking a lot while in college. The damp, gray, cool feel. Love it!

    1. when i put this together it was a coolish/warmish day with big dark clouds and lots of rain the ended up steaming up off the ground when the sun decided to come back out at around 7pm. i decided it was a perfect day for my mood :)

  2. I heart you, chickadee. And I love that window picture. And the gray smoke. And that bed. All of it, really. I'll be here for the other end of that '...' xoxo

  3. I hope you come back to blogging feeling like you and feeling refreshed. I always find that when I approach life and blogging as laissez faire, I enjoy it so much more. I think that is why this time around I haven't given up on my blog like I have so many times in the past.

    1. i kind of feel like mr. rogers coming home and putting on my keds and cardigan. it feels nothing more than comfortable to put this back at the top of my list. and being the comfort zone junkie that i am, there's nothing better.

  5. Beautiful moodboard. I love the imagery as well as the message behind it. Sometimes its nice to just unplug yourself for awhile... get out of your normal routine -- often times we come back, refreshed and more energized.

By the way, a big congratulations on opening up your shop. That's always exciting! Plus, it looks amazing. Love love your pillows. <3
