I love this yarn banner DIY from Creative Bug. Several of my bedroom inspirations (still uncompleted but slowly getting there btw) I have pinned on my the bed board on pinterest have had similar looking textile wall art hangings. It must be from being a child of the 70's, or it's just really grown on me. I have a ton of yarn from days of knitting (years ago), which, I think I can finally say isn't my thing, so I may put it to use and create one of these. On the scale of easy to difficult - this one looks easy peasy.
Here is another thing to make but for the tummy: Stone Fruit in Lemon and Thyme Syrup with Creme Fraiche. This dessert looks heavenly and for me it has the added bonus of being gluten free. I can't tell you how hard it is to go through summer being taunted by pies and fresh pasta dishes. I thought winter would be difficult to be gluten-free, seems for me it's the summertime.
And while flowers are still in bloom I think this flower typography project from Urbanic Paper looks so pretty. It also looks pretty involved and not for the faint of heart but it may just be that my motivation for DIY's has been on the low end of the spectrum lately. But if any of you try this I'd love to see pictures!
Right now the only DIY project I am working on is the desk I found (literally) for Fisher's room. It's been a long time since I have refinished a piece of furniture. But I am really excited to see how it turns out. And it's been super fun to work on something with my boy. I found that if there are power tools involved he doesn't mind getting a little crafty.
