Happy Friday! I felt like friday was never going to get here this week, maybe it was because all of Tuesday I actually thought it was Thursday, oops. I don't know what my rush was. Well, it could be that I had a cortisone injection in my shoulder yesterday which I was a bit anxious about. I had high hope for a miracle but unfortunately it didn't work, in fact it feels a bit worse, but we shall see. With that I am going to keep this short and go reposition my ice pack. I will leave you admire this lovely Malmö apartment, and I am sure you can imagine all the things I love about it . . . the windows, floors and fireplace . . .

Have a happy weekend!

  1. I think if I lived in an apartment ever again, I would want it to look just like this. Can I make my house look just like this? Can I just move? The only thing I don't love are the little flowers around the fireplace, but I imagine that I'd just move in and after awhile I'd just stop noticing it.

I love the bookshelves all organized by color. Back when I used to knit, I organized my yarn that way and I loved it!

    1. i do live in an apartment (or townhouse rather) and these are the types of images that torture me because i want it to look like this, right now! i agree about the fireplace, those are the types of things i find so charming in others spaces but i am afraid in mine it would drive me bonkers, but maybe not. i mean if we had all the rest, yeah, we could probably overlook the little floral detail ;)

the bookshelves reminded me of rooths! xo

  3. You poor thing! Has your shoulder been bothering you? I'm so sorry, that is so un-fun. I hope the cortisone shot kicks in and gives you some relief! :(
I think my favorite piece in this whole apartment, my very very favorite, even more than the herringbone phone and color-coded bookshelves, is that little candelabra on the side table by the windows. I love that glamorous little detail. xo

    1. oh, my shoulder has been bothering me for a very long time. i still have hope it could kick in but my doctor put in a numbing agent as well, so if it did "work" i should have felt immediate relief for a couple hours at least, so she's thinking it didn't. but now i have tried it at least.

i didn't even notice the candelabra! but now that you point it out, yes. i adore it when people can mix and match modern and vintage so beautifully, because as you probably figured out by know i love both in equal parts. i think that's why i am always so drawn to these scandinavian (and parisian too!) apartments with the vintage architectual details filled with modern furnishing. my idea of perfection. xoxo

  4. I hope you'll feel better soon, Christine. This apartment is so lovely, with all that natural light pouring in. Although I have to say that I would never organize my bookcase on the colour of the books. :) Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

  6. That bookshelf looks like mine except it's 3x the size! Let's move here, shall we? We can just laze around in the sunlight and read ALL the books
