This home immediately called out to me when I saw it. I think it might be a little on the dark and masculine side for me on most days, but right now, it perfectly suits my mood. This little apartment has a hideaway feel to it that I would happily curl up in right now with some good fall novels and classic foreign films. And if you look at all the pictures closely there are wonderful details and little surprises (legs!). The only thing I think I would have to omit straight away, especially in my current mood, is that looming light in living area, it feels a bit oppressive. But everything else I am loving, down to the bedding, which I'd like to wrap myself in. I also adore the naked bulb pendent lights in the kitchen, the wood planked and b&w tile floors, the cozy bedroom with the inspiration wall and little neon "hi" sign, the sheer curtains in the kitchen with printed text. All the the black and white against the warm grey tones along with just the right amount of wood furnishings and plant life give it a bit of a softer touch and comfortable feel. I'm so in love.

PS. I have turned off anonymous comments for awhile because I have again been getting hundreds of spam comments filling my inbox on a weekly basis. Sorry if this poses a problem for any human trying to post a meaningful comment (as opposed to back-link spam pooey).

  1. You and I must be in a grey sort of mood lately. Don't despair though - my Thanksgiving table setting colours this year are gold and yellow so the spray of brilliant colours is coming. Literally. I might apply gold spray paint to random things this weekend. :)

    1. yes, i am definitely in a moody-grey-give-me-books-and-cozy-linens mood lately.

ha, that's what a can of gold spray paint will do to you. you will want to spray "all the things!" hopefully we will see some pictures of your midas touched table masterpiece. xo

    1. it does have a romantic feel. but to me it's more of that romancing yourself with happy isolation and big stack of books and movies feel.

  3. Our bedroom is the color of that living room, and I love love love it. Moody and dark and cozy and definitely oppressive, in a cuddly way? Is that a thing? It's like a little cave and I adore it. So naturally, I love this apartment. It's a fun departure from the usually-stark-white Scandinavian interiors! xo

    1. i like it. and did you notice the paint in the living room? i like how the white ceiling is extended - makes it feel bigger and brighter. i just brightened everything up with white in my house, so i am not looking to paint right now. but i am sure i'll be getting the itch in the near future. and when that happens i think i am going to copy the walls in this living room. xo

  4. Oh my gosh, you so nailed the mood of the moment here--dark and gray and perfect for curling up and reading! I'm finally repainting my gray interiors though because I needed more light, but have a lot of appreciation for this one and my eye went straight to that little bar cart--I so need one!

p.s. spam is just the worst!

  5. Oh wow LOVE this. I am so on board with the dark wall trend as long as you have enough light and space and this place does. Gorgeous home I would not mind living here.

  6. oh gosh, I love it. I've been obsessed with grey for years now. you are right, maybe a bit too monochrome. I'd add a few splashes of colours, but otherwise wouldn't change a thing. perfect!!!

  7. Most of my house is gray, but of the lighter variety. And our bedroom is a dark, dark midnight blue, so I can do dark, but I think just in the bedroom, maybe. The rest of that house does feel a bit dark to me, but I love it nonetheless. If it were an Airbnb, I'd snap it up in a heartbeat!

  8. michael kors bags and put my sex against hers. Im going to leave everything to you, I said, but please dont hurt yourself. She put her hand down to my sex and guided it in sighing a little with satisfaction Michael Kors Black Friday as bit by bit it slipped home.
