Moodboard | 63 Days |

Tuesday, January 14, 2014

Yesterday I think the high was somewhere around 57 degrees, at least according to my car, this tricked me into feeling like spring was right around the corner. But alas I googled it and there are indeed still 63 days left until the first day of spring, which sounds a bit too far off in the distance. But if there are more days like yesterday I think I can be patient because they feel a little in between the crispness of winter and the freshness of spring.

  1. 63 days will be here before you know it! That's just two months, and one of them is shorter than the others, think of it that way! Not that I'm gunning to get rid of winter (I know, I know) but I do love early spring, when it's still chilly in the morning. In fact, in rooting around some drawers the other day doing a big clean out (you inspired me from that post the other day!) I found a mix CD I'd made years ago called "Spring Morning." I haven't listened to it yet upon finding it but now I might save it for our 63-day countdown :) xo

  2. I'm with Erin. In no mood for spring to hurry up. I need at least one good snow storm, please. Or ice. As long as I'm tucked in with the fire roaring. Today is warmish (50s) and rainy, and feeling very spring-like though.

  3. I've always considered the 1st of March the first day of spring, and it helps, once January kicks in, spring doesn't seem that far away anymore. :)
