Takeout

This week was another one that felt like it sped by, likely because I had a mental to-list that was long enough to keep me busy for 2 weeks rather than one, so I didn't get everything done I had hoped to. Luckily there is the weekend and next week and the week after that. Some things, I suppose, will just have to carry on over.

The photos above are from a really fantastic interview with Courtney Klein, over at Ann Street Studio. There are so many beautiful shots - her home and garden is just so utterly charming.

I absolutely adore these library card valentines that Erika from A Tiny Rocket made. You can download some for yourself too by visiting the link.

And this series of photos by, Elena Shumilova, a mother in Russia who took photos her of boys and their farm animals really make me wish I lived on a farm with baby ducks and bunnies and amazing landscapes all around . . . and that I knew the first thing to taking such breathtaking photos.

I don't know about you, but I was obsessed with these books when I was a pre-teen, so I think I am going to partake in a little guilty pleasure this weekend and watch this movie on cable.

And then there is this. I have to admit my thoughts on this are pretty boring and go something like "hm. okay." Though the connection with valentines day eludes me. Happy weekend!

  2. I loved Erika's Valentine's cards too. Really nice. But those photos from Russia. Can't stop looking at them. Dear God. I already wanted to run away from the city, but these? I'm utterly captivated and simultaneously cast down. I could never. Never. They're so amazing.
