Remember awhile back I mentioned that my couch broke and I really hoped it would be fixable because I didn't want to have to buy a new couch, and then it turned out it was fixable and I didn't have to buy a new couch? But just in case it turned out I needed to I rounded-up my favorite couches anyway? That temporarily broken spring was enough to plant the seed and it's been growing like an invasive weed in my brain since then. It likely hasn't helped that the sofa round-ups I did for said post has been liked/re-pinned multiple times everyday since then and it's been like a not-so-subliminal message to buy a new couch. Well, it turns out I really do want to buy a new couch. I give in.

When I bought my sofa about four years ago I just shopped locally, which I am a huge proponent of, but it took me months to finally settle on something. Everything I loved was at stores I couldn't afford to buy a vase at, let alone a major piece of furniture. So the idea of going through the pains of buying a new couch again filled me with a bit of dread. However, now with, I don't know, hundreds of hours spent online later, I found a store that has a huge selection of sofa's I really like, and while they aren't local to me, they are all made in the USA and support a local economy - they even source all their fabric from the US as well. The hardest part now is going to be narrowing it down to style, and then narrowing down the size I want, and then narrowing down the fabric (because I get to choose all of these things). If you have read my blog for awhile you may know I am not the most decisive person, but I really do love having choices, even if I am not always graceful whilst trying to make them. These are the front runners, though every time I visit their site I add a new one to the list. Do you have a favorite style out of these ones? I think I know my favorite, but then a minute later I don't.

  1. Ooo, it's hard to pick just one, there's some great choices here. I want tto say the first one is my favorite, but I also love the fifth, third and fourth (in that order).

    1. the first is my fave too (i think). i love the fifth too, i'm just afraid it might seem heavy in my space. the third was my favorite at first, but for practical reasons i really like the ability to flip cushions. and the forth, seems really hard to choose between that and 1. gah! this isn't going to be easy :)

  2. Decisions decisions! At first glance, and this is just my personal preference, I don't like sofas that have an extra leg in the middle as well as the sides. It's just visually THERE and I can't see anything else but that. Is that weird? So narrowing it down that way, next up is the "how comfy does it look" grade. Chloe and Rocco get my vote for that. And I work with a guy named Rocco and he's great! So maybe that's a sign?? Good luck deciding!! xo

    1. i don't mind the third leg. i think for me i just see it as more reinforcement ;) and i am not sure i'd notice once it was inside - probably much more obvious in pictures like this. and i keep going back to the chloe - but maybe with just one big cushion? two cushions for me are like what the 3rd leg thing is for you. someone once told me you should get one cushion or three cushions and i am not sure it matters, but now i can't get that out of my head! xo

  3. I'm a horrible decision maker. Bottom line. I'd almost rather have all the options available than commit. That being said, the leg thing that bugs Erin doesn't bother me. I love the tufts, so yes to any of those. I'm leaning #1 (is that Astra?) or maybe Dove. Yeah. I like Dove. :)

    1. i'm glad i am not the only one! i hope you will forgive me if i start flooding your inbox with questions like "do you think i should get this one but two inches longer? ;) the 3rd leg doesn't both me either. Astra is the one i keep circling back to. in other photos they have for that one it looks super comfy. xo

  7. i love number 1 but number 5 seems more practical with a dog and kiddos. I love buying local too but it seems like I find more things online from small businesses.

    1. in other photos #1 actually looks really great for kids/dogs too. the seat depth looks really loungy. i do love to buy local, but i think local can mean a lot of things. if a company works to support their local economy that counts in my book.

  8. The Huntley or Lena... maybe. Gah, I know how crazy sofa shopping can be and it took me forever to make the decision on mine
